Why Does the Phone Weigh 100 Pounds??!!

Did you hit your 2009 goals?  Are you on track for achieving your 2010 goals?  What's getting in your way?  What do you need to stop doing that could take you off track?  What do you need to start doing that will put you on-track?  What are your greatest fears relative to selling and picking up the phone?  What do you truly want for your life, your family and your business?

Debbie Scott will take you through a self-analysis process that will allow you to identify what's really important in your life and what motivates you to succeed.  She'll also talk about how negative attitudes and beliefs, namely "head trash", can subconsciously prevent us from doing prospecting behaviors, such as picking up the 100 pound phone, that will allow us to achieve those goals.  She will help participants identify what skills gaps, behavioral gaps or attitude gaps need to be re-adjusted to put them back on track to achieving their 2010 personal and business goals.

Debbie Scott is a professional trainer and sales/business coach for Achievement Dynamics, LLC, a Sales and Management Development firm based in Denver, Colorado and certified by the Sandler Training Institute.  She has been a top performer as well as trainer and coach for over five years.  She is dedicated to nurturing and inspiring the human spirit to change for the better through coaching, training and motivational speaking, as well as leading by example, using Sandler communication tools and Law of Attraction concepts.

Prior to joining Achievement Dynamics, Debbie worked as a Sales Associate for the DuPont Chemical Company.  From 1988-1996 she did both development and direct sales for DuPont Packaging and Industrial Polymers, covering the Western US, Canada and Alaska. She exceeded sales quotas, consistently growing the business 1000% over this period.  In 1997 she went to work for DuPont Automotive and was based out of Denver selling industrial paints.   Again, she consistently exceeded sale quotas by 23% annually.  In 1999, she returned to the Polymer Products Division of DuPont and shortly thereafter assumed the role of Global Market Segment Leader with market development responsibilities.  She also sold into the packaging industry in a direct sales role at the same time.  While there, she increased her territory sales by 24% and global polymer sales for asphalt modification by 37%.

She completed an MBA in Technology Management (e-business) from the University of Phoenix in December 2001.  With this training, she assumed the role of e-Marketing Specialist for DuPont in June 2003.  She left DuPont in June 2004 and shortly thereafter joined Achievement Dynamics.
