Current Ballot Issues

No on AMENDMENT 60
Since TABOR passed in 1992, voters around our state have granted flexibility to our service providers to meet local needs. If passed, Amend 60 would eliminate our ability to expand public safety, education AND libraries, police AND fire protection, road maintenance, and water service, basically, all of our critical infrastructure.

No on AMENDMENT 61
Certificates of Participation provide the only method to finance large-scale construction projects for utilities, medical buildings, schools, and roads.  If passed, Amend 61 would prevent the building of much-needed water plants and pipelines, the Anschutz medical campus in Aurora, academic science buildings at Auraria and University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, school construction in the poorest districts, and many other important projects

No on PROPOSITION 101
Vehicle registration is important for road safety and transportation in our state.  If passed, Prop 101 would destroy a major funding source for road and bridge construction. We currently have 128 structurally deficient bridges on the Colorado highway system, and our transportation infrastructure is eroding faster than current revenues can maintain.

No on AMENDMENT 62
Important life decisions should not be made by the government and as it is written, the vague language of Amend 62 would create law from just one religious viewpoint, which in turn defeats any personal decision concerning reproductive health care.  Amend 62 has far-reaching consequences for important life decisions.
